8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

**TO REGISTER IN OFFICE, YOU MUST BRING TWO (2) DOCUMENTS SHOWING YOUR PRESENT ADDRESS**

YOU MAY PICK UP BY-MAIL FORMS AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:

  1. Dept. of Public Safety
  2. Human Services Dept.
  3. Putnam County Health Dept.
  4. Public Libraries
  5. County Clerk
  6. Armed Forces Recruiting Office
  7. Local Post Offices
  8. Register of Deeds Office

**Anyone who registers by mail, must vote in person the first time he or she votes after registering.

YOU DO NOT REGISTER BY POLITICAL PARTY IN TENNESSEE. However, you must declare a party when you vote in a Party Primary.

YOU MUST REGISTER TO VOTE OR MAKE ANY CHANGES to your registration information at least 30 days prior to any Election.

***The polls will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in all precincts in Putnam County on Election Days.
